Foundations and structure

Reinforced-concrete raft slab and columns on prepared ground. A geotechnical survey of the plot comes before the first cubic metre of concrete.

02

Floors and glazing

Cantilevered slabs of up to 4 metres and floor-to-ceiling glazing. The upper floor that seems to float.

03

Facade, pool, finishes

Timber slats on the facade, infinity pool, terrace, lighting and a tropical garden.

Delivered in 9 months

Fixed budget. Fixed deadline. The keys are written into the contract, not into promises.

We do not build “houses” — we build villas: panoramic glazing, a pool, and the view you chose the plot for. Full cycle — from soil survey and design through to furniture and garden.

Process

Four stages, one point of contact

01

Plot & design

We visit your plot and carry out the soil and topographic surveys. The architect designs the villa around your view, the sun and the wind — never the other way round. Three weeks later you have the 3D model and the itemised quote.

02

Structural work

Raft slab, columns, floor slabs. Our own reinforced-concrete crew and independent technical inspection at every pour. A photo report to your WhatsApp every evening.

03

Facade, roof, glazing

Made-to-measure panoramic glazing, timber slats, infinity pool. This is where the villa finally looks like the rendering.

04

Interior & garden

Finishes, home automation, furniture, lighting, lawn and trees. You arrive with a suitcase — everything else is already in place.

Projects

Built. Lived in. Alive.

Four villas delivered and two sites under way, from Cocody to Assinie.

Testimonials

What the people who live there say

The quote we signed in January is what we paid in October. Not a franc more. The evening photo report let me follow the site from Paris without stress.
Aminata K.Cocody · Villa Palm
We wanted an infinity pool that seems to spill into the lagoon. The architect understood the idea at the first meeting. Handover a week before the contract date.
Jean-Marc & Sophie D.Assinie · Villa Horizon
Clear communication, in English, with a single point of contact. Material samples were sent to Shanghai before the final choice. The result matches the 3D rendering exactly.
Li WeiBingerville · Villa Lagune
Our 1990s villa was transformed in six months: new facade, roof, open kitchen. The team worked cleanly and respected the neighbours.
Fatou B.Riviera · Full renovation
The terrace facing the ocean is exactly what we imagined. The site manager answered my questions the same day, even on Saturdays.
Karim H.Grand-Bassam · Villa Corniche
Adding a floor to a house we were living in seemed impossible. MERIDIAN did it in four months without us having to move out. The independent technical inspection reassured me.
Olivier R.Cocody · Additional floor

About

An Abidjan team that builds as if it were their own

Founded in Abidjan in 2014, MERIDIAN grew out of a simple observation: too many villa projects overrun on budget and schedule. We chose to do the opposite — an integrated team, a firm contract, a site you can watch online. Ten years on, 47 villas have been delivered between Cocody and Assinie, and most of our clients come by recommendation.

FAQ

The questions we are asked before signing

How long does it take to build a villa?

Between nine and twelve months depending on size and complexity, from site opening to handover of the keys. The deadline is written into the contract, with late penalties at our expense.

How does payment work?

In stages, in CFA francs (FCFA), at each milestone agreed together: foundations, slabs, roof, fit-out, handover. No payment is requested before the previous milestone has been inspected and accepted.

I do not have a plot yet. Can you help?

Yes. We check the land title or ACD with you, carry out the soil survey before purchase and put you in touch with our land partners in our areas: Cocody, Riviera, Bingerville, Assinie, Grand-Bassam.

Who handles the building permit?

We do. The architect prepares the complete file, we submit it to the one-stop building-permit office and follow it through to approval.

Which guarantees cover my villa?

Twelve years on the structure, ten-year liability insurance and a contractor's all-risks policy during the works, plus a one-year completion guarantee on the finishes.

How can I follow my site remotely?

A camera films the site 24/7, you receive a photo report every evening on WhatsApp or Telegram, and we organise visits at every milestone — on site or by video call.

I am a foreigner. Can I buy a plot and build in Côte d'Ivoire?

Yes, within the framework set by Ivorian law. Acquisition goes through a land title or an ACD and a notary. We guide you through the steps, but we do not replace legal advice.

Can I change the project during construction?

Yes, by signed amendment. Every change is priced and its impact on the schedule is specified before any work is done — no surprises on the invoice.
